This Program has been developed from evidence-based research, proven to engage children’s interest whilst explicitly teaching the necessary skills to read, spell & write with confidence. The program is multi-sensory & uses music, craft, drama & games to teach early literacy & numeracy skills.
What sets our school readiness program apart?
- Evidence-Based: It moves away from “guessing” words based on pictures and instead focuses on phonemic awareness—the ability to hear and manipulate sounds in words.
- Explicit Instruction: Nothing is left to chance. Children are taught the direct relationship between letters (graphemes) and sounds (phonemes).
- Multi-Sensory Engagement: Since young children have short attention spans, using music, craft, and drama ensures the children stay engaged. It turns abstract symbols into a physical, lived experience.
By the time these children hit their first day of “big school,” the alphabet won’t be a mystery
We complete craft and “sky writing” to build the muscle memory required for letter formation.
We read decodable books so children only encounter words they actually have the tools to solve.
